About Me
Hi there, I'm a student, a daughter, a friend, a coffee person, a cat-sitter, a tutor, a translator, a writer, a polyglot in the making, and a humanities lover who is somehow also interested in a bunch of non-humanities subjects.
At least, all of the above is what I would like to be.
Welcome to my online space. I hope you have found my content useful or enjoyable. Thank you for visiting and see you around!

About this website
The name of this website, "Musa Mihi Memora", is taken from Book 1 line 8 of Virgil's Aeneid.
Musa, mihi causas memora, wrote the poet, beseeching the Muse of Poetry to help him remember the causes that led to his hero Aeneas' exile. It is unlikely that I will ever write epic poetry, but I wanted to use this name to acknowledge the profound impact Virgil's poetry - and Latin poetry and literature in general - has made on my life, and to remember the people, books, and choices that have brought me to where I am now.
To be perfectly fair, I wasn't the smart person who came up with this title. It was suggested by a (much smarter) classmate from one of my Latin classes a couple of years ago when I discussed my wish to build a website dedicated to Classics. That idea sadly fell through, but I decided to keep the name. I think it's fairly obvious from the contents of this website that even though it isn't dedicated to or defined by Classics, Classics is everywhere and has influenced it in every way.
